5 Wedding Ideas

Colourful dresses

You have your traditional white or ivory wedding dress. It might be chiffon, lace or satin, it could be a mixture. Some brides are stepping out in floral designs, bright pink and even black. They are toying with different colour palettes and trying something they feel may express their individuality. Whether you choose the conventional route or a new modern trend, it’s enjoyable to consider and see the flourish of different shades.  (Emma has spoken more about different wedding dresses.)

QR Codes

Couples are also using QR codes at their wedding to take guests to platforms online where they can upload photos of the wedding day. It’s an interesting method that leads to a gallery of different photos showing the day through the eyes of the guests. GuestPix is a platform that offers this service, which will give you a “digital event gallery.

Video wedding invitation

Imagine your guests receiving their wedding invitations through the post and seeing the moving video of your engagement. Video wedding invitations can be made and then uploaded to cards from Etsy and Amazon. The arrangement doesn’t require expensive software, yet imagine the impact for your guests and the excitement they’ll feel at the sight of your event.

Brooch wedding bouquet

Large bouquets and wildflowers have a beautiful appearance of their own. Brooch wedding bouquets have pearls, brooches and crystals decorating your bouquet. This adds a little glitz and glamour to the whole affair as you walk down the aisle.

Blue Shoes

Imagine a pop of colour with your wedding outfit, blue shoes peeping out from the bottom of your wedding dress. Whether it’s electric blue or baby blue, the impression will be the same. From four-inch heels to a small kitten heel and all the way to mules, blue shoes show fun and playfulness. They can be your “something blue.”
